The distinct grain and color of oak make it a sought after paneling choice. The number of oak paneling options are as broad as the batches that we find.
Sometimes we mill oak out of larger beams to provide a renewed, fresh milled appearance. Sometimes we receive inquiries for a particularly rustic paneling and in these cases we often have oak that has been pre-used as a flooring and is a little beat up. Once it’s been pulled up, had the ends cut off and been finished, the previously shabby looking planks, complete with nail holes, nudges and distinct signs of wear, look fantastic. The wear, tear and signs of aging are the very attributes that make oak a distinct paneling option.
We also, from time to time, grey white oak fencing come into stock. Similar to barn wood, exposure to the elements leaves a unique, silvery grey patina on the planks.
